AKC CH. Valentyne Fortnum and Mason At Hudsonview – “Mason”

When Liz O’Brien of Valentyne Cavaliers offered me a puppy I jumped at the chance to have a Seamus son.  Mason is is as handsome as his father and like both parents he is sweet and kind.  He is the kind of dog that truly loves being a dog!   He and Cosmo grew up together and there is less than a month difference in their ages.  I often joke they are brothers from a different mother – and father!

Mason quickly finished his AKC Championship.  At his debut weekend he was Winners Dog at the Albany Kennel Club under judge Olga Gagne for a 4pt major and he was Reserve Winners Dog under Lamont Yoder at the Cavalier King Charles Club of Southern New England.  Westminster weekend, Mason went on to take BOW for 4 point majors at both the Progressive Dog Club under Judge George Milutinovich and the Meadowlands Kennel Club under Judge Peter Webber.

When my sister Karen lost her 14 year old dog she asked me for a Cavalier.   I knew Mason was the right fit for her and her husband Tom.  Mason now resides with Karen and is a treasured member of their family.    We miss him very much but know that he brings Karen so much joy and Mason adores her.
